Here are the best tips on how to enjoy the coming days on the island:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Santa Catalina Tom\u00e0s: A festival in new splendor<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conselldemallorca.es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Festes de la Beata<\/a><\/strong> in Palma are all about <strong>Santa Catalina Tom\u00e0s<\/strong>the only saint in Mallorca. This year, the saint is being honored in a special way - in keeping with her <strong>450th anniversary of death<\/strong>. Since July, a <strong>Arc de Triomphe<\/strong> the <strong>Rambla<\/strong>who works with <strong>six meters high<\/strong> and sparkling gold leaf attracts everyone's attention. The big parade on <strong>Saturday, October 19<\/strong> <strong>at 6.30 pm<\/strong>brings the freshly restored <strong>Body<\/strong> of the saints on the move again - a real highlight. About <strong>5,000 strips of fake gold leaf<\/strong> were used to build the historic vehicle from the year <strong>1868<\/strong> to shine in new splendor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The move is accompanied by <strong>36 music and dance groups<\/strong> and round <strong>900 participants<\/strong>. The streets of Palma are filled with music, dance and tradition - and it's not just an absolute must for locals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"256\" src=\"https:\/\/isla-travel.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/10\/fiet2024-1-1024x256.jpg\" alt=\"Fiet 2024 Mallorca\" class=\"wp-image-25976561\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">\u00a9fiet.cat<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">FIET: Theater and more for the whole family<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>For those who prefer a more cultural experience, the <a href=\"https:\/\/isla-travel.de\/en\/mallorca-magazine\/events\/fiet-2024\/\"><strong>FIET Stage Arts Festival<\/strong> <\/a>in <strong>Vilafranca<\/strong> visit. From the <strong>October 17 to 20<\/strong> a colorful program is offered there, ranging from <strong>Theater<\/strong> about <strong>Dance<\/strong> up to <strong>Circus<\/strong> is enough. Fun for the whole family, with younger visitors in particular getting their money's worth.
