Passengers flying to or from Mallorca could face dirty air in aircraft cabins after airport cleaners announced an indefinite strike. The strike, which began on April 27, will take place every Friday, Saturday and Sunday in protest at the poor working conditions offered by cleaning firm Sirsa, an otherwise reputable company (Ultima Hora newspaper).
The cleaners complain of a number of grievances, including breaches of contract and inappropriate behavior towards subordinates, which have been officially confirmed by an arbitration center.
