In Algaida, the Associació Cultura Gastronòmica brings together people interested in their municipality's food and produce. It organises the activities of the Mostra Gastronòmica, whose programme is officially published by the municipality.

The programme combines restaurant visits with gatherings on placeta des Sitjar: restaurants, bakeries and wineries take part in the Nit gastronòmica, while the Fira de producte local presents local produce and its producers. A cooking demonstration adds another perspective on regional ingredients. The municipality of Algaida and other organisations support the 2026 edition. The association, supporting institutions and individual host businesses each have different roles.
