Event details
From 18 to 20 October 2024, Consell hosts Fira de Tardor and Fira del Vi. Rooted in the area’s culture and traditions, the two fairs bring residents and visitors together each October to celebrate autumn and, above all, wine.
Wine takes centre stage
The Fira del Vi is a highlight of the weekend. Regional winemakers present their wines, with tastings offering the flavours of D.O. Binissalem, which includes Consell. Many stalls also explain the production process and the area’s winemaking history, stretching back to Roman times. It is an opportunity to discover Mallorca’s rich wine culture.
A fair for the whole family
Consell offers more than wine. Fira de Tardor celebrates the island’s crafts and farming. Stalls selling local crafts, food specialities and regional produce line the village streets, offering a chance to discover Mallorca’s traditional skills and flavours. Music, workshops and cultural activities complete the family programme.
Sustainability and tradition
The two fairs combine tradition with sustainability. Fira del Vi highlights local winemaking, while Fira de Tardor celebrates the agriculture and crafts deeply rooted in Mallorca’s history. Both show the importance of preserving these traditions while finding sustainable ways to carry them forward.
For a closer look at Mallorcan culture, these two fairs are well worth a visit.
