Event details

On 9 November, lanterns light up Puerto Portals for the tenth anniversary of its St Martin’s celebration. From 17:00 to 20:00, children carry handmade lanterns through the marina in search of St Martin, who appears on horseback.

This year, each completed children’s “mission”, such as lantern-making, biscuit-decorating or the wish-list workshop, raises €3 for Fundación Rana, a Balearic foundation working to protect children from abuse. The evening ends with hot chocolate and freshly baked biscuits for everyone.

A special family evening that combines shared enjoyment with support for a good cause.

Practical information:

Register children aged four and over for the event. On the day, collect a “game card” from the information point. Children use it at the lantern-making, wish-list and biscuit-decorating stations and the St Martin’s story reading. For each completed card, the organisers donate €3 to Fundación Rana.
